A Richmond native who has lived everywhere from Meadowbrook to the Fan, Church Hill, North Side, and south of the River in Stratford Hills. Brad’s connection to the area runs deep. He doesn’t just know the neighborhoods, he understands the people, history, and character that make each Richmond community special.
Brad’s path to real estate was almost inevitable. Growing up as the youngest of nine children, he learned early how to build relationships, listen closely, and bring people together. Watching his father work as a real estate agent also showed him the power of helping families find the right place to call home. After beginning his career in B2B sales during the early days of cellular technology, Brad ultimately found his true calling in real estate, drawn to both the entrepreneurial challenge and the opportunity to make a lasting impact on people’s lives.
Today, Brad leads Ruckart Real Estate with a philosophy centered on honest guidance, strategic thinking, and long-term relationships. “Real estate isn’t about transactions,” Brad often says. “It’s about giving advice that can shape someone’s future.” Whether helping a family buy their first home, advising clients on how to maximize their home’s value, or mentoring agents on the team, Brad is known for clear, thoughtful counsel and a steady hand during life’s biggest decisions.
In recent years, Brad’s perspective on life and business has been shaped in the best possible way: becoming a father. He and his wife, Melissa welcomed their daughter, Reese, and fatherhood has introduced Brad to some of the most meaningful and grounding parts of himself. Being a girl dad has only deepened Brad's appreciation for home, family, and community, values that guide how he serves clients every day.
When he’s not mentoring agents or helping clients navigate the market, you’ll likely find Brad exploring the James River trails with his black Lab Luka, playing a round of golf, cheering on the VCU Rams, or spending time with Melissa and Reese.
